Merging innovation with versatility, artistry with skill, Michel’s compositions attest to his passion for music of all genres. After setting the standard for jazz music with the long-standing success of UZEB and his subsequent album releases with the band Wild Unit, Cusson began rising the bar for film and mega-show score compositions and quickly became one of the most sought-after composers in Canada.

Michel has composed music for a significant number of films, among others Séraphin – Un Homme et son Péché, Maurice Richard, Aurore, Monica La Mitraille, Dans une Galaxie Près de Chez Vous, as well as Le Collectionneur, IMAX documentaries Dinosaurs Alive, Volcanoes of the Deep Sea and Fighter Pilot: Operation Red Flag. He has also contributed to a host of foreign projects, notably in the United Kingdom (My First Wedding), in France (Père et fils), and Israel (Metallic Blues). His television scores are as admirable and include the series Omerta, Race To Mars, René Lévesque, Vice Caché, Tag, Bunker and The Last Chapter. In addition, he signed the score of many mega-shows, including Cavalia, Ulalena (Hawaii) and ERA: Intersection of Time (Shanghai). Now he works on AO: La Légende Fantastique (Drummondville) and Waikiki Nei (Hawaii).
