Born in Chalonnes sur Loire in western France, Frédéric grew up in a family passionate about animals and nature. “Our philosophy is about understanding the horse, as opposed to making him understand us,” explains Frédéric Pignon. His approach to working with stallions at liberty has generated spectacular and unique in the world performances. The philosophy he has instilled in Cavalia is based on patience, trust and total respect towards the horse.
