Majolie describes her Cavalia experience as completely inspiring. She takes pleasure in discovering new countries and in being immersed in each city she visits. She especially enjoys observing and noticing the different reactions based on the local cultures and characteristics. Indeed, her breathtaking dive above the audience allows her to discover and provoke a range of reactions. “I swoop to within one meter of them! It’s so interesting to see the different facial expressions from so close; some are frightened, others surprised or completely amazed!” She also enjoys the freedom of being herself on stage “that allows me to express what I feel and who I am.”

Majolie’s careeer as a gymnast began at the tender age of 3! Ten years later, she became a student at Montreal’s Ecole Nationale du Cirque, specializing in “powertrak” and aerial acrobatics. The most valuable lesson she took from her training and experience is the importance of discipline. “I must stay in shape, train, take part in daily rehearsals and preserve energy for the show. It’s important to pace yourself, to find a balance and maintain personal discipline.”
