As early as she can remember, Landon’s life was filled with horses! When she and her sisters decided to take riding lessons, geography determined where. The closest place to home was Riata Ranch, world-famous for its trick riding and roping Cowboy Girls. Right off the bat, Landon began trick riding! Not only did she learn how to manipulate a lasso, but she became an expert at the art. Landon was thoroughly thrilled with her new skills, even though, at the time, she couldn’t imagine how they might benefit her.

Her saddle began collecting dust as she applied herself to literature studies at California State University. She then became a teacher until 2005, right around the time she first heard about Cavalia. She decided to join her sister Renny, who had just signed on with the show. As well as performing several blazing trick riding passes, Landon and her sister perform a lasso duo. Thanks to the support and advice of the show’s creators, they have developed a style of their own; elegant, voluptuous, unique and perfectly adapted to the rhythm of the show. Her sister being left-handed and she, right-handed, they are virtually a mirror image of each other!
